I’m finally back home from Germany and let me tell you, it was much more difficult to eat healthy out there than I thought it would be, especially at restaurants! Regardless, I did my best to choose healthier options in a country whose specialty is pork, sausage, and fried foods.
Salads were usually the healthiest options on restaurant menus. Here’s a shrimp and tomato skewer salad I had in Rothenberg, my favorite place I went to. As you can see, it was still very oily, but it was still delicious and a healthier option.
I will be posting a lengthier article soon about the foods I found in Germany, so stay tuned! Guten tag!
