In my opinion, there’s nothing better than chocolate. Well, that might be a little bit of an exaggeration, but chocolate is definitely something that makes me happy. Something that makes me even happier is being able to indulge in certain chocolate recipes without guilt! I love this healthy Chocolate Mousse recipe that I created. It’s packed with protein and there is no protein powder involved. The main ingredient is an extremely versatile food: plain Greek yogurt. Greek yogurt’s creamy consistency is perfect for a mousse like this. With just a few ingredients necessary, this decadent dessert can be ready in a few minutes. It pairs flawlessly with fresh, juicy strawberries to dip in it. If you love chocolate mousse, try this recipe out!
- 1 (7 oz) container of Fage 0% Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 packet pure stevia
- ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- Strawberries
- Optional: chocolate chips (I used Lily's Chocolate Chips sweetened with stevia)
- Empty yogurt into a bowl.
- Add cacao powder, stevia, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Top with chocolate chips (if desired) and enjoy with strawberries. You can either dip the strawberries in the mousse or chop them up and add them to the bowl.
