Healthy Oatmeal Jars

An easy mason jar meal prep recipe to help you stay on track with your health goals!
Course Breakfast, Snack
Servings 1

Equipment

  • 1 mason jar
  • 1 cupcake wrapper

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup whole grain rolled oats
  • Nuts
  • Seeds
  • Dried Fruit
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut Sugar
  • Cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Add oats to the jar.
  • Place the remaining ingredients into a cupcake wrapper. Carefully place the cupcake wrapper in the jar on top of the oats. Cover with the lid tightly.
  • When you're ready to prepare the oats, carefully remove the cupcake wrapper from the jar. Place the oats in a microwave safe bowl and add water, and then microwave (according to the package directions - make sure you check this before you leave home!). Once the oatmeal is prepared, mix in the toppings and enjoy!

Notes

Have fun choosing which nuts, seeds, dried fruit, and other toppings you choose! I used various mixed nuts, golden raisins, and pepitas!

Veggies and Dip in Mason Jar

An easy mason jar meal prep recipe to help you stay on track with your health goals!
Course Snack
Servings 1

Equipment

  • 1 mason jar

Ingredients
  

  • Hummus
  • Carrots
  • Celery
  • Cucumbers
  • Bell peppers

Instructions
 

  • Place desired amount of hummus (or other dip of choice) in the bottom of the jar.
  • Cut the veggies into long sticks and insert them into the jar, placing them upright into the dip. Enjoy!

Hardboiled Eggs to Go

  • 2 hardboiled eggs
  • Himalayan salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Hard-boil eggs and add to a mason jar. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top. Refrigerate until ready to enjoy!

Healthy Trail Mix in a Jar

Ingredients
  

  • Mixed nuts
  • Dried fruit
  • Seeds (I used pepitas)
  • Chocolate morsels or chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a jar and shake to combine, or leave layered. Enjoy!

Notes

Important: there are 2 servings per container, or possibly more depending on the size of mason jar you use. Make sure to plan your portions!
